Sump Testing
No later than October 13, 2018, you’re required to perform the first three year containment sump test for liquid tightness on sumps used for interstitial monitoring of piping.
Required Annually:
- Visually check containment sumps for damage and leaks to the containment area or releases to the environment.
- Remove liquid in contained sumps or debris.
- For containment sumps with interstitial monitoring, check for leaks in the interstitial area.
Recommended Activities:
Containment sump areas: Look for significant corrosion on the UST equipment.
